To say that this LP has been highly anticipated would be an overstatement. D&Q are ridiculously unknown to the death metal audience and many (including me) believe that D&Q are USDM’s best kept secret. Hopefully this will change now that NWR have took them under their black wing.
Music-wise I don’t have much to add to their 7″EP’s presentation. They sound like Immolation’s lost twins who spent a lifetime in a cave. This is darkened death metal at its best, executed with precision, feautring highly catchy/memorable tunes. Get it or don’t.
