This deluxe re-release has generated a strong demand and we’ve finally been able to stock a few copies thanks to our good friends Necroterror Records.

ΠΥΡΗΝΙΚΟΣ ΧΕΙΜΩΝΑΣ was the name under which NUCLEAR WINTER were known in their early days, aka in the mid 90’s. They were active for a few years in the local hardcore punk D.I.Y./squat circuit and this recording, pressed as CD in 1997, documented this period.

The band continued in the early 00’s after a few years of hiatus with a different line-up and released the split-7″EP with INCRIMINATED (2001) and the legendary “Abomination Virginborn” demo tape (2003) which we are proud to have released on vinyl in 2006.

This is the first time that this historical release gets pressed on vinyl. Bolt Thrower worship meets Amebix with dual vocals shouted in Greek. This was also the first consistent discographic appearance of Anastasis Valtsanis, the vocalist/guitarist of supreme death metal horde DEAD CONGREGATION.
