While we are eagerly anticipating the 2nd ANTIMOB LP expected in 2014, a nice vinyl release including another band of their singer Stathis, is an appropriate way to swallow the pill of the wait.

Indeed and even though DIRTY WOMBS are a decent local hardcore punk act packing crustiness with epic melodies and a good production, the main interest of this release for me is the GUTTER side (who btw also feature members of SARABANTE & JAGERNAUT).

GUTTER play old-school hardcore in the early U.S.H.C. veins. I am pretty impressed because a) didn’t expect a local band to excel in this particular type of sound, b)  Stathis’ vocal delivery proves to be equally skilled in english as it is in greek, and that is an awesome fit in my book! They execute catchy, aggressive songs with the grit of legends such as MINOR THREAT of 7 SECONDS, and they kill. Check them out at all cost and we hope that a full-length album is not too far away…
